Serving to promote the professional interests of the athletic training profession within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts Athletic Trainers’ Political Action Committee (MA ATPAC) was formed in 2019 to promote and support the professional interests of the athletic training profession and athletic trainers within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This non-partisan committee is a true grassroots effort and is funded entirely through the generous, voluntary contributions of athletic trainers and others to strengthen our voice on Beacon Hill.

Support the PAC
When contributions are made to a candidate or cause from an individual, it carries one voice. By pooling our resources into the MA ATPAC, the voices of all athletic trainers and those that support them can be heard. Help us provide the full weight of the profession during this legislative cycle.
Make an impact.
The MA ATPAC was founded on a three-tiered approach to promote the legislative efforts of the athletic training profession within the Commonwealth.
Advocacy
The MA ATPAC is able to provide financial support to elected officials, candidates, and others who have shared ideals and support for our common professional interests. By attending campaign fundraisers and meetings on Beacon Hill, the MA ATPAC works to get the challenges that athletic trainers face in front of our legislators.
Education
The MA ATPAC will help to provide educational opportunities to athletic trainers regarding upcoming legislative events, political action committee guidance, and our continued purpose.
Fundraising
Our state organization (Athletic Trainers of Massachusetts; ATOM) often urges its members to call their legislators to influence key pieces of legislation at certain times. If you are unable to donate your time, please consider contributing to the MA ATPAC. We must utilize the power in numbers of our membership.
